Art & Social Change for Millennial Leaders 2019

InterPlay's Arts & Social Change program is for people ages 18 to 40, who are keen to explore InterPlay's "sneaky deep" ways of connecting to the wisdom of the body and the transformative power of play. It is an opportunity to share and reflect on our experiences as people passionate about the intersection of art and social change, through entirely new and ancient ways of knowing. This program offers the chance to tap into your innate artistic gifts, nurture your capacities, and explore what makes you thrive, in the journey of community and social justice.

Yay! I did it! I went to the Oakland, CA and graduated from A&SC Program.

This program took place Monday through Friday from July 15th to 26th (two weeks).

I was lucky to play with a diversity of InterPlay leaders, including founders Cynthia Winton-Henry and Phil Porter. We played and had experiences in the Bay Area with social change organizations, ancient Redwood trees, and Jenner beach. I also met with the wider InterPlay community during the lunches, WING IT performance and graduation evening. It was wonderful meeting and making new friends.

Thanks to our program leaders Agnotti Benedict, Natalie Abdou and Soyinka Rahim Gsp for this wonderful experience!

appreciate my InterPlay mentor Ruth Schowalter for encouraging me to attend this program.

I would love to share my feelings and my experiences that I had during the program. Below are my notes, enjoy!
