September 22, on the first Thursday of Fall Semester, Sustaining International Sisters (SIS) was invited along with other organizations to explain the services we provide to our Atlanta community to the spouses of Georgia Tech students.

Co-founder Canan Arikan delivered a PowerPoint presentation to women from around the world about our Saturday “InterPlay & Potluck” gatherings on the first Saturday of every month in Decatur. She explained the important aspects of SIS!And she shared Take Aways from SIS gatherings!
While there, she met with SIS participant Yue Cao and other friends from the GTLI. In addition to these old friends, Canan also made new friends from Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Brazil.
Thanks to Kate Kirk, Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services, Georgia Institute of Technology, Office of International Education for inviting SIS to the GT Spouse Orientation.
